Like many industries, the printing industry has changed over the past 30 years. Unfortunately, over the last 5 or 6 years, largely due to the internet and national competition, San Diego’s printing industry has been decimated with a loss of over 400 local printing companies. They have gone the way of the mom and pop grocrery stores, the local barber shop, office supply, lumber yard, butcher, baker and gas station mechanic.
